Welcome back, to the NEW stage of history

hey everyone i kno its been ages since i last posted something and there's been a good reason for that. for one i was looking for work and i was pretty unsuccessful for awhile so i had all this free time on my hands so i was traveling alot you know just so i could just get out of the house. i visited my cousin a couple of times and i went to two anime conventions one T-Mode and the big one Otakon. Now i know that some people know about Otakon cuz its a big deal for anime fans. What people dont know is T-Mode. T-Mode is a small convention that happens in Virgina... i think...my memory is a bit hazy lol. When i say small i mean small. My cousin Harry said never again lol. So lets skip down to Otakon, now this year i wasnt going to enjoy it as much cuz i was very very broke...but i was determined to have fun anyway. low and behold that when we get there we headed down to the dealers room there was a fire and they kicked everyone out of the convention center. We were outside the convention center for an hour....an hour, before they let everyone back in and trust me it was hot out there. Heat and geeks don't mix but i was glad that it was very cool in the convention center cuz it would have been smelling like ass and other undesirable smells lol. Now even though i was mostly broke i did buy some manga and what a deal that they had, they must have known that i didnt have alot of money. one vendor had 8 manga's for 60 bucks thats crazy talk....then even better another vendor had buy 3 manga's get ur next one free.... thats FREE people. Oh yea i also forget to say that i brought a list, now i kno that im not the most prepaired person in the world but i took a page out of my friend michelles book, write everything that you want to accomplish that day and boy did it ever work. Out of the 24 books that i wanted to get i bought 15 of them, so all and all it was a pretty good haul. so lets fast forward to Aug 13, i know that its the day after my birthday but nothing happened but that i worked lol. i got a call from dad ,the week before my birthday and the week of Otakon this year, invited me and my sister to Niagara falls. the trip was awesome i enjoyed every minute of it, although there were some aspects that i could have done with out, but hey those people know what they have done in this life and im sure that they are still paying for it. And now for a time thats closer to this, the day after i got home i got a call, from one of the supervisors in the student accounts office on campus. they offered me a job on campus to start that week, i had to get my contract signed and then i now have a job on campus and the pay is well although it is contractual i am making 40 hrs a week more than what i get from gamestop so in conclusion though it being as hard as it was to look for a job, im so happy that ive finally found one
